Terms of Service

Effective October 4, 2026

These Terms of Service govern purchases and use of BrandMap's video-editing services. BrandMap is powered by My Creator Handbook. By purchasing a BrandMap service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

BrandMap provides video-editing services based on footage, creative direction, files and other materials supplied by the customer.

The standard BrandMap Vlog Edit currently includes editing of up to three hours of raw footage for the price displayed at checkout.

Additional services may be purchased where available, including additional raw-footage capacity, short-form edits, Rush Delivery, additional revisions and Enhanced Graphics.

The exact products, add-ons and amount purchased are shown at checkout and associated with the customer's BrandMap order.

2. Finished video length

Purchasing a Vlog Edit does not guarantee a specific finished-video duration.

Customers may provide a preferred finished length in their Vlog Brief, but final duration depends on factors including the amount of usable footage, repetition, pacing, story, creative direction and the material supplied.

BrandMap is not required to retain unnecessary or unusable footage solely to reach a requested duration.

3. Customer materials

Customers are responsible for providing all footage and other materials necessary to complete the edit.

Customer-provided links must remain accessible and downloadable without requiring BrandMap to request additional access.

The customer represents that they have the necessary rights or permissions to provide BrandMap with any footage, music, fonts, graphics, photographs, logos or other materials they submit and to instruct BrandMap to use those materials for the requested edit.

Customers should not provide passwords, account credentials or other unnecessary sensitive information.

4. License to perform the service

The customer grants BrandMap a limited license to access, download, copy, process and edit submitted materials solely as reasonably necessary to provide the purchased service, communicate about the order and deliver the resulting work.

This does not automatically grant BrandMap permission to publicly display customer footage or finished work for advertising, portfolio or promotional purposes.

BrandMap will obtain separate permission before publicly using customer-specific work for promotional purposes unless another written agreement explicitly provides otherwise.

5. Vlog Brief

Customers must complete the BrandMap Vlog Brief and provide the information/materials reasonably necessary to begin their edit.

BrandMap is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete briefs, inaccessible footage, missing files, unanswered questions or other customer-side delays.

6. Editorial judgment

Video editing involves creative judgment.

Unless the customer provides specific instructions, BrandMap may make reasonable editorial decisions involving pacing, structure, clip selection, music, sound, color correction, B-roll, titles and other creative elements within the purchased scope.

7. Music

If the customer does not provide music and requests or permits music in the edit, BrandMap may select appropriate royalty-free or otherwise properly licensed music.

If a customer supplies or specifically requests music, the customer is responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights or permissions for their intended use.

BrandMap does not guarantee that customer-supplied music will be cleared by social platforms, distributors or other third parties.

8. Fonts and third-party assets

Customers requesting a specific font or other third-party asset must provide lawful access to that asset when necessary.

The customer is responsible for any license required for customer-requested third-party assets unless BrandMap explicitly agrees otherwise.

9. Revisions

The standard Vlog Edit includes one revision round unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Purchasing the Extra Revision add-on provides one additional revision round.

A revision round means one consolidated set of reasonable change requests submitted after reviewing the delivered edit.

Revisions are intended to modify the existing agreed edit and do not automatically include a fundamentally different concept, replacement of most source material, or work outside the purchased scope.

Additional work beyond the included revision scope may require an additional purchase or separate agreement.

10. Rush Delivery

If Rush Delivery is purchased, the Rush period begins only after BrandMap has received the completed Vlog Brief, accessible footage and all other materials reasonably required to begin editing.

Customer-side delays do not count toward the Rush period.

11. Enhanced Graphics

Enhanced Graphics provides additional customized motion graphics or visual treatments beyond the standard titles and graphics normally included with a Vlog Edit.

The exact creative treatment remains subject to the customer's brief, supplied assets and reasonable production limitations.

12. Short-form add-ons

Short-form add-ons are created from the footage associated with the purchased vlog unless otherwise agreed.

The number of Shorts included is determined by the package purchased at checkout.

13. Delivery and review

BrandMap may provide review and final-delivery links through the customer's private BrandMap order portal.

Customers are responsible for reviewing delivered work and communicating revision requests through the available BrandMap communication/revision system where reasonably practical.

14. Customer communication

BrandMap may communicate with customers through email and the private BrandMap order portal regarding their purchase, brief, footage, edit, revisions and delivery.

Customers are responsible for providing an email address they can access and monitoring communications relevant to their active order.

15. Order portal

BrandMap may provide customers with a private order link.

Customers should treat this link as private because it may provide access to their order information, messages, brief and delivery materials.

Customers must not intentionally attempt to access another customer's order or interfere with BrandMap systems.

16. Acceptable content

BrandMap may refuse or discontinue work involving material that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, fraudulent, malicious, or otherwise inappropriate for the service.

BrandMap may also refuse instructions that would require BrandMap to violate applicable law or third-party rights.

If service is refused or discontinued, any refund eligibility will depend on the circumstances and the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

17. Customer backups

Customers should retain their own copies of all original footage, project assets and delivered files.

BrandMap is not intended to serve as permanent cloud storage or the customer's sole backup system.

18. Third-party services

BrandMap uses third-party services to operate portions of the customer experience, including payment processing, hosting, email delivery and customer-provided file-transfer/storage services.

Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

19. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe or another clearly identified payment processor.

BrandMap does not store complete payment-card credentials.

BrandMap is powered by My Creator Handbook, and customers are informed before checkout that My Creator Handbook may appear on payment-related communications or bank statements.

20. Tips

BrandMap may allow customers to leave an optional tip after completion.

Tips are voluntary, are not required to receive the purchased service, and do not affect the customer's rights to delivery or included revisions.

21. Reviews

Customers may be invited to leave a rating or written review after completion.

Where BrandMap asks for permission to publicly display a review, BrandMap will follow the display preference selected by the customer.

Customers should provide truthful reviews reflecting their genuine experience.

22. No guarantee of platform performance

BrandMap provides editing services but does not guarantee views, engagement, followers, revenue, virality, platform distribution or any other performance result after a video is published.

23. Service availability

BrandMap may modify, pause or discontinue offerings, prices, add-ons or features for future purchases.

Changes will not retroactively alter the products already purchased in a completed order except where necessary to comply with law or by mutual agreement.

24. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, BrandMap and My Creator Handbook will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

To the extent permitted by law, BrandMap's aggregate liability relating to a particular order will not exceed the amount actually paid to BrandMap for that order.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited or waived.

25. Changes to these Terms

BrandMap may update these Terms from time to time.

The version accepted at checkout governs that purchase unless applicable law requires otherwise.

26. Contact

Questions regarding these Terms may be sent through the contact information published on BrandMap.
